Installer/Finisher

Install various types of wood flooring, involved in subfloor repair, floor finishing and final trim work.

-Tear out and disposal of existing product

-Preparation of the sub-floor and surrounding area

-Measuring, sizing, placement and securing of product with various adhesives, staples, etc.

-Various sanding heavy duty and light equipment

-Applying sealants and finishes

Additional responsibilities include:

-Light conversation with customer for awareness of project schedule and variances

-Maintain equipment and company provided vehicle in safe and organized manner

-Assist in the management of personal schedule, time on job and project work

-Reporting of job hours

Qualifications and Education Requirements

-No schooling threshold

-Basic carpentry math

-Current drivers license

Preferred Skills

-Familiarization and use of various wood shop tools and equipment

-chop, jig, band, and table saws and sanders

-Tape measures, scales, levels, right angles and machine guides

-General hand tools, adhesives, and power nailers

-Basic Carpentry skills

This role provides ability to earn a commission on jobs when actual hours spent are less than Estimated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
