The role you'll contribute:
The Institute Registry & Outcomes Nurse collaborates with clinical departments across the organization to help improve quality and outcomes captured to meet national registry guidelines and regulatory requirements. The nurse is responsible for ensuring all clinical outcomes accurately reflect the care provided by all hospitals within AdventHealth Orlando to allow for accurate public reporting. The nurse utilizes previous clinical experience and knowledge to review and make inferences of clinical care, to submit required elements to national registries. The nurse serves as the clinical content expert, within assigned specialty, to review patient health status across the continuum including patient interviews, medical record review, and post-acute tracking as assigned. The nurse is responsible to alert leadership of potential clinical variability or discrepancies of documentation to ensure patients receive evidence-based care. The nurse is responsible for validating and submitting registry harvest reports on behalf of all AdventHealth Orlando facilities (as assigned) to meet regulatory and registry compliance guidelines. The nurse actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
