Instructional Aide - Mt. Shasta & Online Math

Job Summary
Golden Eagle Charter School is seeking a dedicated Instructional Aide to support Independent Study students in grades 2–12 through primarily online instruction, with some on-site work at our Mt. Shasta campus. This position plays a key role in supporting students’ math learning and assisting teachers who lead our online math classes.

The ideal candidate is comfortable supporting students across multiple grade levels and has strong math skills, including the ability to assist students with high school-level math concepts. Many students may need support strengthening foundational math skills while progressing through higher-level coursework.

Responsibilities
Provide academic support and tutoring for Independent Study students in small-group and one-on-one online settings, with occasional in-person support at the Mt. Shasta campus.
Facilitate online math labs and tutoring sessions to reinforce key skills and concepts.
Collaborate closely with 2nd–12th grade math teachers to support instruction, assignments, and student progress.
Assist teachers with Independent Study documentation and recordkeeping.
Utilize technology effectively, including Google Suite, Zoom, and other online learning platforms.

Qualifications
Strong math proficiency, including the ability to assist with high school-level math concepts.
AA/AS degree or higher required.
Proficiency with technology tools such as Google Suite and video conferencing platforms.
Reliable transportation to the Mt. Shasta campus.
Candidates must be at least 25 years old to drive school vehicles.
Dependable, organized, and committed to supporting student learning and growth.

Schedule
Part-time, 20–30 hours per week.
Primarily online, with some on-site work at the Mt. Shasta campus.

Golden Eagle Charter School operates a flex-based learning model serving students across Siskiyou County.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.08 - $35.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
