Essential Function:
To support the operation of the Spring College for Kids camp by assisting instructors, providing supervision, and guiding students through activities across campus.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Applicant must be 16 or older to apply.
Patient and friendly.
Dependable and adaptable.
Enjoys being around children.
Comfortable using Microsoft Word.
Able to lift containers with supplies weighing 30 – 40 pounds for short distances and pushing a wheeled cart with equipment.
Experience:
Prior experience working with children in a classroom, camp, or childcare setting (preferred).
Babysitting/Sitting is considered.
Familiarity with educational or recreational program facilitation (a plus).
Other requirements:
Availability for the duration of the Spring College for Kids program (03/30/26 – 04/02/26).
Must pass two background checks.
Ability to stand, walk, and actively participate in camp activities for extended periods.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Adhere to the established camp schedule and ensure timely transitions between activities.
Escort and transport students to various activities around campus safely and efficiently.
Supervise and engage with the students assigned to their group for the duration of the week.
Assist teachers with class activities, ensuring an organized and supportive environment for learning.
Monitor student behavior and enforce camp rules to maintain a safe and positive atmosphere.
Gather instructional supplies for class and returning them to storage at the end of each class session.
