Instructional Designer

Blu Omega is seeking an Instructional Designer to drive a high-impact initiative focused on building a future-ready DoD workforce. You’ll partner with leadership to assess training needs, design scalable learning programs, and implement strategies that strengthen organizational performance and culture.Location: El Segundo, CA (On-site, 5 days/week)Clearance: Active Secret Clearance requiredKey Responsibilities

• Analyze and enhance existing training programs to align with mission goals.
• Design and deliver engaging, modular, and scalable curricula.
• Facilitate workshops, trainings, and strategic planning sessions.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify learning gaps and measure outcomes.
• Develop communication materials and reports for senior leadership.
• Manage training logistics, materials, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or 5+ years of related experience.
• Proven experience in workforce training, instructional design, or organizational development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern learning tools.
• Experience with video-based training and editing (preferred).
• Strong project management and analytical abilities.

Salary Band$85,000-$115,000

Our final salary offer will be based on several factors, including depth of technical skills, work experience, education, certifications, and clearance
