Instructor in Landscape Design

Job Description

Overview: We are seeking an instructor position to lead the Lab classes for Landscape Design courses, focusing on delivering practical skills to undergraduate students using modern design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion etc. The ideal candidate should have expertise in landscape design process and software applications. Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver lab classes using software and techniques.
• Teach students to use the software to create professional designs that of industry standards
• Guide students in hands-on projects, focusing on design, implementation and visualization
• Stay updated with current industry trends, software and best designs
  
  

Minimum Qualification

• Master’s degree in landscape architecture or related design field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in landscape design teaching with soft scaping and hardscaping design skills
• Excellent knowledge of ornamental plants and cultural practices
• Demonstrated ability in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion etc.) showcasing landscape design work
• Excellent communication skills
  
  

Preferred Qualification

• PhD in relevant field is of added advantage
• Experience in curriculum development and other academic obligations
• Knowledge of UAE landscape practices, policies and regulations
• Strong industry network and professional skills
