Prestige Institute is looking for part-time Instructors who can teach IN-PERSON at Bayside NY !

We have multiple campuses across NJ, NY, and GA along with an Online Campus that serves to help secondary students achieve their goals in Standardized Testing. Why? So that the students can move on to the next step of studying in college and settle into the workforce!

Responsibilities:

Understanding of and comfort with explaining secondary-level or higher subject content.

> English Instructor who can teach

• Creative Reading/Writing
• Standardized Tests (SAT/ACT/SSAT) – English
• AP English (Preferred)

> Math Instructor who can teach

• Standardized Tests (SAT/ACT/SSAT) – Math
• AP Calc BC (Preferred)
• AP Stat (Preferred)
• AMC and more. (Preferred)

> Science Instructor who can teach

• Standardized Test (ACT) – Science
• AP Chem, AP Bio, AP Physics and more.

(We provide trainings to help teachers get accustomed to our settings.)

Responsible and responsive work ethic. We highly regard communication and relationships with our students, so prioritizing the learning needs of students is important to us.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Bachelor’s degree in subject area (preferred but not required)
• 1 + years of Teaching / Tutoring experience preferred
• Could commit for a year

Salary: $35 and above/hr (negotiable upon experience)

Schedule:

• Director is open and willing to discuss the schedule.
• You can tell us your set available times (# of hrs., # of classes per week, etc.)
• We also have branches in Westchester, NY, NJ and GA. Please let us know if you would like to work somewhere else!

Generally,

> Our operating hours are afterschool hours & Saturdays during the school year

(Open Weekdays 12 pm-8 pm & Saturdays.)

> During summer, the schedules are a bit more set with intensive courses.
