Job Description:
Southwest Air Systems is seeking a skilled and experienced Instrumentation & Controls Lead to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in Muscat, Oman. Based in Ghubrah South, the ideal candidate will ensure reliable system performance, compliance with standards, and efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems
• Develop control strategies, system architecture, and technical specifications
• Supervise maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of instruments and control equipment
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project teams
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and system drawings
• Provide leadership and guidance to I&C engineers and technicians

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering
• Proven experience in instrumentation and control systems within industrial or oil & gas sectors
• Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and automation systems
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage projects and technical teams effectively
• Relevant certifications are an advantage
