Instrumentation Engineer

Job Descriptions:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Instrumentation Engineer to join our engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and control systems used in oil & gas facilities.
• Prepare and review engineering documents such as P&ID, instrument datasheets, loop diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of field instruments including transmitters, control valves, analyzers, switches, and sensors.
• Perform instrument calibration, loop checking, functional testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure instrumentation systems comply with international standards (ISA, IEC, API, etc.) and client specifications.
• Support project teams during construction, testing, start-up, and commissioning phases.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams for project execution.
• Monitor and maintain instrumentation systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 8+ years experience in Oil & Gas, refinery, or petrochemical projects.
• Experience in PLC, DCS, SCADA, ESD, and F&G systems.
• Strong knowledge of instrument calibration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings and instrumentation diagrams.
• Valid KOC Approval / KOC License preferred.
• Experience in EPC or Oil & Gas project environment.

Benefits:

Salary : 600 to 750 KD

Visa Requirement: Transferable Visa 18

Pay: KD600.000 - KD750.000 per month
