Insulation Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Insulation Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with experience in various insulation techniques and materials. This role involves working on residential and commercial projects, ensuring that insulation is installed efficiently and effectively to meet industry standards.

Duties

• Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, and floors according to specifications and building codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine insulation requirements.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the installation process.
• Measure, cut, and fit insulation materials to ensure proper coverage and efficiency.
• Apply caulking and sealants as necessary to enhance insulation effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform quality checks on installed insulation to ensure compliance with standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience with various insulation materials and techniques, including plastering, stucco, and trim carpentry.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and metal stud framing is a plus.
• Ability to perform tasks involving concrete finishing, masonry work, airless paint spraying, and roofing as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Work Location: In person
