Insulation Installer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing insulation materials in various settings, ensuring energy efficiency and comfort in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, mechanical systems, and the ability to read schematics. The Insulator will work closely with other construction professionals to deliver high-quality results.

Duties

• Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, and floors according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine insulation requirements.
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure proper installation of insulation around mechanical systems.
• Utilize various tools and techniques for insulation installation, including airless paint spraying when necessary.
• Fabricate insulation materials as needed for specific applications.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure that all installations meet industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Skills

• Proficient in construction estimating to assess material needs and project costs.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to building systems and insulation techniques.
• Experience with HVAC systems and their integration with insulation materials beneficial.
• Familiarity with airless paint spraying techniques for insulation applications.
• Ability to perform frame carpentry tasks as needed during the installation process.
• Competence in fabricating custom insulation solutions based on project requirements.
