Insulation Laborer

Job Summary
Join our dynamic construction team as an Insulation Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help create comfortable, energy-efficient spaces across a variety of building projects. In this role, you will assist in installing insulation materials that improve building performance and sustainability. Duties

• Assist with the installation of spray foam in ceilings, floors, foundations, roofs and walls.
• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and secure insulation components according to project specifications.
• Support other trades such as carpentry, roofing, drywall, and masonry during construction projects.
• Prepare work sites by cleaning surfaces, setting up scaffolding or ladders, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Apply caulking and sealing techniques to improve insulation effectiveness and prevent air leaks.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or drywall installation is preferred but not necessary.
• Knowledge of insulation types and installation techniques is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools (e.g., knives, tape measures) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws).
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with fabrication processes enhances your ability to adapt to various tasks.
• Understanding of safety standards on construction sites is essential for maintaining a secure work environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
