VanClark Insurance Agency, a locally owned independent brokerage with a new location in Long Beach, WA, is hiring a full-time Insurance Advisor to work with inbound and existing clients while building and managing a growing book of business.

This is a relationship-focused role — no cold calling. You’ll advise clients on coverage, write new business, and service accounts while developing long-term client relationships. As your book grows, you’ll have the opportunity to transition into a supported role with an Account Manager.

What You’ll Do

• Advise clients on coverage and risk protection
• Work with inbound and referral clients
• Quote, bind, and manage policies
• Service current accounts including renewals and changes
• Cross-sell when appropriate (not high-pressure)
• Communicate with carriers and underwriting
• Build and manage a growing book of business
• Deliver exceptional long-term client service

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in insurance, banking, financial services, or retail relationship related field
• WA Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain)
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Tech-friendly and adaptable
• Self-motivated with strong client focus
• Professional and team-oriented

Compensation & Benefits

• $50,000 – $65,000/year,

(based on base hourly pay + new business and renewal commissions + cross-sell incentives)
