Takagi & Associates is seeking a highly skilled Insurance Property and Casualty Claims Manager to oversee and optimize our claims department. Candidate must be highly experienced with prior or qualifiable manager level capabilities with a strong knowledge of all claims types.

Responsibilities:
As the Manager to the Claims department, you will play a vital role in managing department operations, staff, manager level reporting, assessing and evaluating insurance claims, and ensuring fair and accurate settlements. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Oversee daily operations of the claims department, and ensure timely and accurate claims processing.
Lead and manage a team of claims adjusters, providing guidance, support, mentorship and training.
Develop and implement effective claims handling processes, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory guidelines.
Oversee the investigation and evaluation of complex insurance claims, including property, casualty, and liability, to ensure fair and accurate settlements.
Be capable of reviewing and processing desk and field adjusting work
Monitor claim metrics and performance indicators, analyzing trends and implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
Conduct regular training sessions to keep the claims team updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and procedural changes.
Communicate with clients, agents, legal representatives and partners to facilitate claim resolution.
Negotiating settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other stakeholders, adhering to industry guidelines and company policies.
Providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries from policyholders, ensuring their concerns are resolved promptly and professionally.
Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance policies to effectively handle claims.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Possess a valid Guam or State (United States) certified Insurance Adjusters license
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, engineering, or related field
Proven experience as a Licensed Insurance Adjuster, demonstrating expertise in claim assessment, investigation, and negotiation.
Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and regulations, including an understanding of property and casualty claims.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with policyholders, legal professionals, and other stakeholders.
Detail-oriented approach with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to compliance, on-going training and growth
Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for claim processing and documentation.
