Insurance Coordinator/Receptionist (Dental Experience Required)

This postion is at Modern Dental Kids & Sedation at Dawley Farms. Busy dental clinic looking for person to schedule patients, take payments, and do pre-authorizations. We have a great team of professionals and look forward to meeting you!

Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Obtain necessary authorizations and referrals for medical procedures
- Review and process insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues or denials
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide guidance on coverage options
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate coding of procedures and diagnoses
- Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, coding guidelines, and industry regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process complex information
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
