Insurance Customer Service Representative

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience with our products and services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner.
• Provide accurate information about products and services to assist customers in making informed decisions.
• Resolve customer complaints effectively by negotiating solutions that meet both the customer's needs and company policies.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in our database.
• Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and improve service delivery.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Stay informed about product updates, promotions, and company policies to provide accurate information to customers.
• Assist in telemarketing efforts as needed to promote new products or services.
• Must be flexible with hours. Sometime work hours will be in the evenings Monday - Friday and occasional Saturday for events.

Experience

• Previous experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Skills in negotiation and conflict resolution are highly valued.
• Familiarity with telemarketing, insurance sales, or outside sales is a plus.
• Experience in sales administration or benefits administration is advantageous.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is beneficial for roles involving sensitive information.
