Insurance Customer Service Representative (Remote – Illinois Only)The Youngblood Group

The Youngblood Group is seeking an experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative to support our growing independent insurance and financial planning firm.

This is a fully remote position, but applicants must reside within our Illinois service markets, including the Northwest Chicago suburbs (Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Arlington Heights, and surrounding communities) or the Effingham area.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced insurance professional who can step in, learn our systems, and contribute with minimal supervision. If you need constant direction or daily hand-holding, this likely will not be the right fit.

Compensation

• $20.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience and licensing
• $22.00/hour for candidates holding an active Illinois Property & Casualty License
• Part-Time (15–20 hours per week)
• Opportunity to grow into a Full-Time position

Technology & Support

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with policy service requests
• Process endorsements and policy changes
• Handle billing and claims-related inquiries
• Process mortgagee changes and policy updates
• Request and issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
• Communicate with insurance carriers and clients
• Follow up on outstanding service items
• Maintain accurate agency records and documentation
• Produce new business quotes & existing business change quotes
• Help deliver a high-touch client service experience

QualificationsRequired

• Minimum 2+ years of insurance customer service experience
• Previous experience working within an insurance agency
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based technology
• Illinois resident located within our Northwest Suburban Chicago or Effingham-area markets

Preferred

• Active Illinois Property & Casualty License
• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
• Experience using comparative rating systems and agency management software
• Customer service experience within an independent insurance agency
