Job Overview

Idaho Elite Care Insurance Agency is seeking a professional, organized, and personable Insurance Office Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays an important role in supporting daily office operations, assisting clients, and helping our team provide exceptional customer service.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, friendly, and eager to grow within the role as they learn the day-to-day operations of the agency. The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and able to manage a variety of administrative and client support tasks in a fast-paced office environment.

This position will involve hands-on training with our current assistant before their transition out of the role.

Schedule

September–January

  • Full-time
  • Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

February–August

  • Part-time
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Pay

  • Starting at $15/hour

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
  • Assist clients with general questions and office support needs
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments accurately
  • Maintain organized calendars, files, and office systems
  • Perform administrative tasks including data entry, scanning, filing, and document management
  • Assist with client communications and follow-up
  • Help maintain an organized, professional, and welcoming office environment
  • Support agents and office staff with daily operational tasks
  • Learn and utilize agency software systems and internal processes

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities efficiently
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Previous administrative or office experience preferred
  • Experience in insurance or Medicare is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
