Insurance Officer (Female)

Job Summary

He/she would be able to attend client’s needs appropriately. He/she must be knowledgeable in all Insurance and Immigration protocol of Al Jameel Medical Services. He/she has the ability to interact effectively in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds. He/she must have a knowledge of patient billing procedure and must ensure that it is performed accurately. He/she can also perform duties done in the reception effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and organize original claim forms monthly
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping in the endorsement logbook
  • Arrange, review, and submit claims to insurance companies, maintaining coding accuracy
  • Analyze patient records for historical and treatment information
  • Schedule appointments, relay messages, and liaise between medical staff and patients
  • Adhere to Al Jameel Medical Services' policies for data management and reporting
  • Utilize ICD-10 codes for patient records
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accuracy of information
  • Encode patient data into MDS/Excel format for insurance claims
  • Maintain confidentiality of records, manage files, and contribute to team efforts

Requirements

  • Scope of experience must include claims submission, resubmission, and approvals
  • Bachelor’s degree in any medical related scopes
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Medical Coder / Insurance Officer in Medical Industry Medical Coder certificate is an added advantage
  • A female candidate who is flexible to work in split shift basis.
