J2 Agency, partnered with Goosehead Insurance, is a growing personal-lines insurance agency serving clients throughout Oregon. As our client base continues to expand, we are adding an Insurance Renewal & Retention Specialist to support the growth of our book of business and ensure our clients continue to receive excellent service and coverage.

This role will focus on renewals, retention, and cross-selling opportunities, helping strengthen long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities to bundle policies and improve coverage.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review upcoming policy renewals
• Contact clients prior to renewal to review coverage and pricing
• Identify opportunities to bundle policies (home + auto)
• Present additional coverage options such as umbrella, flood, or additional property coverage
• Assist with retention efforts when policies may be at risk of leaving
• Work alongside the agency’s producer to support a growing client base
• Maintain accurate client and policy records
• Deliver excellent customer service and proactive communication

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience in personal lines insurance preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to identify coverage gaps and cross-sell appropriately
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Positive attitude and client-first mindset

Compensation

• Base salary: $50,000 – $65,000 depending on experience
• Performance bonuses tied to cross-selling and bundling policies
• Retention incentives

Total compensation potential: $65,000 – $80,000+
