Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping clients navigate their insurance needs while providing exceptional service. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for understanding various insurance products, analyzing client needs, and effectively communicating the benefits of coverage options. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.

**Must have an active PNC License as well as Life & Health License***

Duties

  • Communicate effectively with clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate suitable coverage options.
  • Prepare and process insurance applications, renewals, and policy changes.
  • Conduct retail sales activities to promote insurance products and services.
  • Prospect and develop new client relationships through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital outreach.
  • Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach potential clients and generate leads.
  • Analyze market trends and client data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in service delivery.
  • Negotiate policy terms and conditions with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance on benefits administration, ensuring clients understand their coverage options.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters, and customer service teams as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations, underwriting guidelines, including HIPAA compliance, to protect client information.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Follow up on leads, inquires, and renewals to maximize retention and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and policy details in CRM or agency management software.
  • Maintain professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid state insurance license (s) in required lines (e.g. life, health, property & casualty).
  • No Criminal Background.
  • Goal -driven with a strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Familiarity with benefits administration and insurance products is a plus.
  • Proficient with standard office software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making processes.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for both the client and the company.
  • Multilingual abilities are highly desirable, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
