Insurance Sales Agent - U65 Health Insurance

Catch Health by American Health Marketplace is a pillar in the health insurance industry and has built one of the largest and most trusted agencies in the country. Every day, we help thousands of families secure coverage, navigate their options, and protect their health and financial well-being.

Now we are launching a brand-new Short Term Medical (STM) Sales Division and we are looking for hungry, motivated agents to help us kickstart this team. You’ll support both inbound and outbound opportunities using company-provided leads, while helping clients find the best insurance products based on the client’s situation. This is an in-office position at our Fort Lauderdale location.

What You’ll Do
Sell Short Term Medical plans or ACA plans to consumers seeking based on client need.
Work both inbound and outbound opportunities (company-provided leads)
Consult with clients, assess needs, and recommend appropriate coverage.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up activity in our systems
Operate with strict compliance, following all company, carrier, and regulatory requirements (including scripting, disclosures, and documentation standards)
Collaborate with leadership to help shape processes as the department scales
Skills We’re Looking For
People-Centered: Strong customer service skills with empathy, patience, and the ability to stay composed under pressure
Multitasker: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
Tech-Savvy: Skilled with Office/Google Suites and able to adapt to different systems
Problem-Solver: Analytical, creative, and resourceful when helping members
Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required

Important Notes
All new hires will begin with a 90-day probationary period. This time is designed to provide support, training, and feedback while also ensuring the role is the right fit. Performance, attendance, and overall fit will be reviewed at the end of the 90 days.
Requirements:
Active Florida 2-15 license (required)
Prior Short Term Medical sales experience (required)
Must be FFM certified
Must be able to be appointed under the company Hierarchy and if there is a conflict, be willing and able to obtain release.
Strong phone presence, professionalism, and a high sense of urgency
