Insurance Sales Manager – Commercial & Personal Lines

Insurance Centers of America is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our Retail producer team. This leadership role focuses on building a disciplined, high-performing sales team and driving consistent new business growth across Commercial and Personal Lines, with a strong emphasis on Commercial accounts.

The Sales Manager is responsible for recruiting, coaching, and managing producers while establishing accountability and consistent sales processes. Success in this role is measured by producer performance, pipeline strength, and predictable growth.

This is a leadership-focused position, not a player-coach role. The Sales Manager does not carry a full personal book of business.

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

• Lead and manage the Retail producer team
• Establish expectations for sales activity, pipeline management, and performance
• Conduct regular pipeline and performance reviews
• Coach producers on prospecting strategy and closing techniques

Recruiting & Team Development

• Recruit and hire new producers as the agency grows
• Support onboarding and development of newly hired producers
• Foster a disciplined and accountable sales culture

Sales Strategy & Execution

• Implement consistent sales processes across the producer team
• Support referral development, prospecting strategies, and market positioning
• Align sales execution with the company’s growth objectives

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Property & Casualty license
• Minimum 7 years of insurance industry experience
• 3–5 years of sales leadership or producer management experience
• Strong understanding of Commercial insurance sales
• Proven ability to recruit, coach, and lead producers

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $95,000
• Performance bonus opportunity: 20%–35% annually
• Total target compensation: $114,000 – $128,000+
