About the Role:
Pincus Plastic Surgery is seeking a Surgical Coordinator with insurance coding and billing experience to support our busy plastic surgery practice. We perform a significant number of insurance-based procedures, so this role focuses on coordinating surgical cases while also assisting with coding, claim oversight, and communication with billing partners. This position helps ensure surgeries move smoothly from scheduling to reimbursement.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate surgical cases for hospital and surgery center procedures.
- Prepare and manage hospital and surgery center documentation and forms.
- Assist external billers with coding and billing preparation.
- Track and follow up on insurance claims and reimbursement status.
- Communicate with external billers and insurance companies as needed.
- Help maintain the organization of surgical schedules and case volume. Communicate with patients regarding insurance status and scheduling.
Qualifications:

Experience as a Surgical Coordinator, Medical Biller, or Insurance Coder
Knowledge of surgical coding, insurance claims, and medical billing processes - Experience in plastic surgery or a surgical specialty preferred
- Strong organization and attention to detail
Compensation: Approximately $70,000 annually, plus benefits, bonuses, and incentives
