Job Title: Insurance Training Specialist (Applied Epic Agency Management System)

Job Purpose
The Training Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of organizational learning programs for the Commercial Property and Casualty team. This role designs and delivers training content, maintains training systems, and supports employee development through innovative instructional strategies and performance support tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Program Development
- Develop comprehensive training curricula aligned with strategic goals and departmental needs.
- Utilize instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective training materials.
- Design and implement onboarding, orientation, and skills training programs.
2. Instructional Delivery and Facilitation
- Deliver training through various formats including in-person, virtual, and e-learning.
- Create interactive content such as presentations, videos, job aids, and e-learning modules.
- Incorporate feedback from learners to improve training effectiveness.
3. Training Evaluation and Reporting
- Design and implement pre- and post-training assessments to measure learning outcomes.
- Maintain records of training activities, attendance, and assessment results.
- Analyze training data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
4. Learning Management System Administration
- Maintain the Applied Epic learning management system by uploading content and tracking progress.
- Generate reports on training effectiveness and compliance.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration and Innovation
- Partner with leadership to align training with workforce development goals.
- Support M&A integration efforts through training and onboarding initiatives.
- Stay current on training trends and incorporate best practices into program design.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of insurance-related experience.
- 3+ years of training-related experience.
- Experience with system integration and M&A environments.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- This person MUST have a background as a Commercial Accountant Manager/Personal Lines Account Manager with a retail insurance brokerage
- This person MUST have a background using the Applied Epic Agency Management system
- Strong instructional design and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Supportive and responsive communication style.
Working Conditions
- Work is primarily office-based with prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
- Must be able to pull or lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Occasional travel may be required for training delivery or M&A support.

Compensation
- Compensation range is based on working in-office in the state in which the position resides
