Insurance Verification Representative

We are looking for a skilled, full-time Patient Facing Insurance Verification Specialist to join the OHOW Greenfield Physical Therapy team! You will work for a small, team-oriented organization that values patient and staff satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients
• Schedule patient appointments
• Answer, screen, route telephone calls
• Paper filing and email correspondence
• Collect copays
• Communicate with insurance companies to verify insurance benefits and obtain authorization
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians and other healthcare team members about patient care

Requirements

• Customer/patient service experience in a medical setting
• Computer skills required
• Ability to multitask

• High School Diploma or GED required

This position is located at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin (OHOW) Greenfield Physical Therapy Clinic.At OHOW PT, our front desk team plays a key role in supporting our close-knit group of talented physical therapists and the community we serve. OHOW was established in 2001 as a joint venture between a group of orthopedic surgeons and Ascension Wisconsin. OHOW focuses solely on the full-service treatment of orthopedic injuries and conditions. We provide surgery, inpatient overnight stays, laboratory services, diagnostic imaging and rehabilitation services. These services are accomplished in our patient-centric 30-bed, 10-Operating Room orthopedic specialty hospital and at our 6 additional off-site physical therapy clinics.
