INTAKE ANALYST

The Intake & Conflicts Specialist is responsible for validating conflicts and intake requests, running conflicts searches, filtering the results of such searches, and assisting with opening new matters. The Specialist should have an understanding of corporate/legal terminology for business structures. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, with the ability to work independently and exercise discretion with confidential and sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review new business conflict checks and intake requests to maintain compliance with firm and ethical due diligence requirements.
  • Accurately and efficiently research parties associated with such requests, utilizing internal and external sources.
  • Assist and respond to inquiries from internal injuries within the Department and external inquiries from attorneys, legal assistants, and related personnel regarding conflict checks and intake requests.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

  • Strong analytical and communication skills both oral and written. Excellent organizational and planning skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
  • Strong research skills demonstrated by ability to use legal and financial research systems.
  • Ability to work with little supervision and collaborate with other members of the team.
  • A strong customer service approach and ability to deal with time sensitive requests.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

  • Education & Experience
  • Familiarity with Intapp Open and minimum of 2-3 years’ experience processing conflict checks and intake requests via Intapp Open required.
  • Database research experience and/or experience with corporate research resources such as Hoovers/Dunn & Bradstreet and or Bureau van Dijk, Capital IQ required.
  • Experience with conflicts database management and experience with 3E and iManage desired.

Pay Scale: The reasonably expected pay range for this position is $85,000.00-$95,000.00. This is an employer estimate and the salary offered within that range, and the potential for bonus and bonus amount, will depend on experience.

The desired regular shift for this role is 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Pacific Time.
