Intake Coordinator

Position Overview:
This is a Full-Time opportunity.

As an Intake Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for clients seeking our services. Your role is crucial in ensuring a smooth and compassionate introduction to our programs. You will guide clients through the intake process, coordinate appointments, and provide essential information about our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for prospective clients, responding to inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
• Conduct initial assessments to understand the needs and concerns of clients.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments with clinicians, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a seamless transition from intake to treatment.
• Provide clients with information about available services, resources, and support options.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is an added plus.
• Previous experience in an administrative or client-facing role, preferably within a mental health or healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic health record systems.
• A compassionate and patient-centered approach, with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes and addressing issues.

Forming a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive working and learning space dedicated to safety, community, inclusivity, connection, and support.

Supporting the mental and emotional health of children and families through high quality, evidence-based, integrative mental health services that are primarily focused on ending intergenerational cycles of trauma.

Fighting for clients through micro and macro level advocacy work, such as connecting families to resources, getting children academic accommodations, and forming community programs.

Providing trauma-informed training to the next generation of practitioners who are passionate about working with children and families through education, training, and supervision.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
