Join ROADS Community Clinic – Lynwood’s vibrant health care team as an Intake Coordinator and make a meaningful difference to our community’s most vulnerable members. We are looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively and is passionate about helping people.
Position Overview: The Intake Coordinator will work with patients to screen them for eligibility, assist them with enrolling as patients of the Clinic, gather all relevant information, and ensure the information is appropriately input into the EHR system.
Qualifications:
· Experience in intake in a medical office preferred.
· Knowledge of various insurances.
· Experience with electronic health records systems.
· Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Responsibilities:
· Assist patients in enrolling as patients of the Clinic.
· Determine insurance eligibility, certifications, and authorizations.
· Screen patients by telephone or in person for service eligibility.
· Gather and enter into the EHR system appropriate and accurate patient information.
· Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
