INTAKE NAVIGATOR - FULL-TIME

SPOP is seeking an Intake Navigator to join our team. This is a hybrid position with 2 days on site and 3 days working remotely.

The Intake Navigator (IN) will report to the SVP for Access and work closely with the Intake staff. The individual in this position will serve as point person for clients who are self-referred to SPOP. The IN is responsible for triaging client inquiries and provides additional support to SPOP’s PROS (Personal Recovery-Oriented Services) Program and DFTA Geriatric Mental Health (DGMH) Program in processing referrals. The IN is also responsible for scheduling initial assessments, performing data entry, and verifying clinic eligibility.

Requirements:

• BSW or BA or equivalent strongly preferred
• 2+ years of experience working in a behavioral health setting and/or with older people
• Technologically proficient; experience with Microsoft, Google, Zoom and electronic health records is paramount
• Excellent communication skills

The successful candidate is flexible and a strong, empathic communicator who operates well both autonomously and within team settings.

Compensation is $55,000 annually plus a comprehensive benefits package, including ample paid time off; medical, dental and vision insurance; employer contribution to retirement plan; and flexible spending account.
