Intake Specialist

Overview
Busy Texas Medical Center practice has job openings for a medical intake specialists / scribe. Our medical intake specialists assist clinicians in completing a medical history, documenting physical examinations, documenting the assessment and plan in Athena EMR. This position includes a triage and intake component, which includes obtaining vitals and verifying past medical history. Flexible schedule allows for ongoing study while gaining clinical experience for the next phase of your career, whether that is additional training or residency. Training will be provided. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and assist in other clinical duties based on department needs.

Candidates must have the following for consideration:

• Highly organized, multi-task, and detail oriented
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Type 50+wpm
• Good communication and listening skills
• Punctuality

Foreign Medical School graduates are welcome, college level Pre-med and Pre-PA students are encouraged to apply. Preference for candidates in gap year (no classes).
