<Job Summary>
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our team. The Intake Specialist provides part-time administrative and documentation support for Hope House programs. This position is responsible for accurate case information entry, case tracking, and documentation to ensure compliance with Children’s Advocacy Center of Texas (CACTX) standards, grant requirements, and internal reporting needs. This position is Monday through Friday 8 am to Noon.
<Responsibilities>
- Enter and maintain accurate case information from Statewide Intake reports and CAC services within the electronic database and internal tracking spreadsheets
- Assist in tracking forensic interviews, medical examinations, mental health referrals, and other services to ensure timely documentation and follow-up
- Maintain and update spreadsheets, databases, and internal reporting tools to support case tracking and program monitoring
- Conduct client history searches and assist program staff with data verification as requested
- Compile statistical information and assist with preparation of reports for grant requirements, accreditation, and program evaluation
- Provide general administrative support to program staff as needed to ensure efficient program operations
- Attend staff meetings and relevant training sessions
- Maintain a high level of child advocacy
- Perform job duties in accordance with professional ethics and organizational policies and procedures
- Maintain a professional, organized environment in the daily operations of the Hope House office
- Perform other duties as assigned to support Hope House operations
<Qualifications>
- At least 1 year experience preferred
- Ability to interact with other professionals and co-workers in the spirit of cooperation and a mutual commitment to the goals of delivering the best possible services to the victims of child abuse
- Must possess excellent people and computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the ability to learn other computer programs applicable to the position
- Ability to clearly convey and interpret information to others in a clear manner, oral and written
- Ability to work under time constraints and maintain effective job performance
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Means and ability to travel to service areas as well as conferences and trainings
- Must maintain confidentiality
- Must pass all criminal background and reference checks
