Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Integrated Behavioral Health Provider to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health, with expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and working with children and families. This role involves delivering evidence-based mental health services within a pediatric setting, utilizing telehealth when appropriate, and supporting the overall well-being of our young patients through comprehensive assessment and treatment. We currently have an early childhood specialist and are looking to fill a position filled for 8 years by another provider. This position is generally working more with school aged and teenage populations and their families.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough behavioral health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems.
  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, family therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute behavioral or mental health emergencies effectively.
  • Collaborate with medical providers to coordinate integrated patient care, including medication management when necessary.
  • Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver services remotely while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Document clinical encounters thoroughly in medical records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to medical documentation standards.
  • Engage in case management activities to support patients' ongoing needs, including working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
  • Participate in clinical research projects or data collection efforts aimed at improving behavioral health interventions and outcomes.

Skills

  • LPC or LCSW, could consider other licensed behavioral health professionals.
  • Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, and addiction counseling.
  • Experience with motivational interviewing and crisis management strategies.
  • Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic purposes and CPT coding for billing.
  • Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, families, and diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, HIPAA compliance standards, and electronic medical records systems.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, behavior management, social work principles, and case coordination.

Pay: $36.00 - $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
