Position: Java Micorservices Integration Lead
Location:- Remote
Title: Title: Integration Lead Developer
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-performing integration solutions using Java-based microservices architecture, enabling scalable and resilient communication between on-premise systems and cloud environments.
- Architect and implement API-driven integration frameworks using RESTful services, ensuring modular, reusable, and loosely coupled services aligned with enterprise standards.
- Drive the adoption of microservices best practices, including service decomposition, API gateway patterns, service discovery, and fault-tolerant design.
- Design and develop APIs using Spring Boot / Java frameworks, ensuring high performance, scalability, and adherence to REST standards and API lifecycle management.
- Lead the implementation of event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka, including designing producers, consumers, topics, and stream processing for real-time and asynchronous data integration.
- Build reusable integration frameworks and components leveraging Kafka and microservices, enabling consistent and efficient data exchange across enterprise systems.
- Design and implement data transformation and mapping solutions handling formats such as JSON, XML, CSV, and flat files, ensuring data integrity and interoperability.
- Establish and enforce API governance standards, including API design guidelines, versioning, documentation, lifecycle management, and reuse strategies.
- Integrate enterprise applications with AWS cloud services, such as:
- API Gateway for API exposure and management
- Lambda / EC2 for compute services
- S3 for storage and file-based integrations
- SQS/SNS for messaging and decoupled communication
- Design and deliver hybrid integration architectures, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity between legacy systems and cloud-native services.
- Implement robust security frameworks, including OAuth 2.0, TLS encryption, JWT tokens, and AWS IAM roles and policies to protect APIs and data flows.
- Oversee and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, Git, enabling automated build, testing, and deployment of microservices and integration components.
- Leverage containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes to support scalable, resilient, and cloud-native deployments.
- Ensure performance optimization and scalability through techniques such as caching, load balancing, asynchronous processing, and circuit breaker patterns.
- Establish monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks using tools like CloudWatch, ELK stack, or similar platforms to ensure system reliability and proactive issue detection.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them on Java microservices, Kafka patterns, API development, and cloud integration best practices.
- Nice to have experience in Mulesoft (Anypoint platform, Anypoint Studio)
- Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and design validations, ensuring adherence to coding standards, performance benchmarks, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Manage end-to-end delivery, including sprint planning, estimation, risk management, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications (OpenAPI/Swagger), and operational runbooks.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation, evaluating new tools, frameworks, and integration patterns to enhance system capabilities and team productivity.
- Act as a primary technical point of contact, handling escalations, stakeholder communication, and alignment between business objectives and technical delivery.
