Functional Description:

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition, supportability and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Integration Management Analyst, you are responsible for providing senor staff recommendations to support the U.S. Department of Defense’s E-130J aircraft modernization program, a critical initiative to advance airborne command, control, and communication capabilities. This role will provide comprehensive management support planning, sustainment analysis, and lifecycle management to ensure mission readiness and long-term program success. This position reports to the Program Office Product Support IPT Lead. These efforts are in support of the E-130J Phoenix II aircraft that will deliver nuclear command, control and communications (NC3) capability for the U.S. Navy's Take Charge And Move Out (TACAMO) mission.

Additional duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide timely management logistics planning and integration for the E-130J modernization program in support of Initial Operational Capability (IOC) milestones and long-term sustainment strategies.
  • Provide assessments of supportability, maintainability, supply support structure, and sources of supply to meet program operational and readiness objectives.
  • Assess risk and recommend risk reduction, life cycle cost management, and operational readiness. Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information to risk mitigation and issue resolution.
  • Evaluate the platform design for supportability.
  • Assist in developing/evaluating a comprehensive Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), ensuring operational readiness, minimizing the logistics footprint, and establishing an adequate support system.
  • Make recommendations to the system design for reliability, availability, maintainability, and supportability (RAMS).
  • Support outcome-based support strategies; conduct Product Support Business Case Analyses (BCAs), document findings in the System Engineering Plan (SEP) and LCSP to support future sustainment and affordability.
  • Collaborate on test plans and provide input to the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) to ensure adequate testing for supportability.
  • Support the configuration management process to ensure that changes to the product baseline during development are controlled.
  • Support NAVFAC, basing requirements, and facility requirements to support maintenance requirements to achieve operational readiness objectives.
  • Support logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operational analyses and provide recommendations for tailoring, optimizing, and establishing logistics element requirements in support of aircraft, weapon systems, training, or SE programs.
  • Provide recommendations for changes to site support including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation, and facilities.
  • Provide recommendations for the development of LCC and TOC Management Plans.
  • Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, maintenance, and program management teams to ensure alignment of logistics supportability goals.
  • Interface with OEMs, subcontractors, and government stakeholders to obtain logistics data and integrate sustainment strategies.
  • Monitor and track performance-based logistics (PBL) metrics and contract deliverables.

Required Experience:

At least 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.

Additional required experience:

  • In-depth understanding of DoD logistics processes, SAE GEIA-STD-0007 and performance-based logistics concepts.
  • Working knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP/4790) and its application in fleet operations.
  • Experience with DoD logistics systems such as FEDLOG, GCSS, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and the DoD 5000 series acquisition framework.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience supporting the acquisition, maintenance, and supportability for Navy programs, particularly C-130/E-130J platforms.
  • DAWIA Level 3 certifications in Life Cycle Logistics and Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of Configuration Management and Sustainment Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Product Support (MBPS) and Digital Thread initiatives.

Education Requirements:

BA/BS or supplemental experience is required.
