Intellectual Property / Technology Associate - 2-7 PQE

A leading international law firm is seeking a commercially minded Associate to join its highly regarded Intellectual Property and Technology team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad mix of IP, commercial, and technology matters across the Middle East, advising on complex, cross-border issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including trade marks, copyright, and design rights
• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including licensing, technology, and outsourcing contracts
• Supporting clients on digital, technology, and data-related regulatory matters
• Handling IP disputes, including infringement, oppositions, and enforcement actions
• Advising on brand strategy, portfolio management, and multi-jurisdictional issues

Candidate Profile

• 2-7 years' PQE with experience in intellectual property, technology, or commercial law
• Exposure to trade marks, commercial contracts, and/or digital regulation
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Commercially aware, adaptable, and collaborative
