Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal, Boston (Hybrid)
I am partnering with a highly regarded law firm on an
Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal
opportunity in Boston. This role supports a sophisticated IP litigation practice with a strong emphasis on
U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and Section 337 matters
, along with federal district court litigation.
This is a substantive, hands-on position for a paralegal who enjoys complex litigation, trial preparation, and working closely with attorneys on high-stakes matters.
Key Responsibilities

Support complex ITC and federal district court litigation, including discovery, research, Markman hearings, and trial preparation

Manage electronic and paper discovery, document productions, depositions, transcripts, and trial support

Create and maintain databases, privilege logs, discovery files, and trial materials

Coordinate large-scale document reviews, war rooms, and trial logistics

Research case materials, court rules, expert testimony, and prior publications, and prepare summaries, timelines, and reports

Obtain materials from vendors, clients, and government agencies, including the USPTO and ITC systems
-
Assist with depositions, client meetings, expert preparation, and filings

Prepare and file briefs and legal documents, including cite-checking, Bluebooking, Shepardizing, appendices, and e-filings
-
Manage trial preparation and post-trial activities

Stay current on rule changes, technology, and best practices in IP litigation
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required
-
4+ years of litigation experience, with patent and ITC experience strongly preferred

Deep understanding of the litigation lifecycle

Familiarity with USPTO and ITC practices and procedures

Experience with document management and review tools such as Relativity, DeskSite, West Case Notebook, and TrialDirector

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Discretion, integrity, and sound judgment required
Work Model

Hybrid schedule, approximately
60% in office, 40% remote

Flexibility for overtime and travel when needed
