About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Lead Intellectual Property (IP) Lawyer to lead our IP practice group. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of IP attorneys and paralegals, providing high-quality legal advice to clients, and driving revenue growth for the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership:

Oversee and mentor a team of IP attorneys and paralegals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Recruit and hire talented IP professionals to strengthen the team.

Delegate tasks effectively and provide clear guidance to team members.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor on IP matters.

Proactively identify client needs and develop tailored IP strategies.

Communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to clients.

Resolve client issues promptly and effectively.
Revenue Generation

Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new clients and expand existing relationships.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Negotiate and close deals to maximize revenue.

Monitor and analyze revenue performance to identify areas for improvement.
Legal Practice

Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients on a wide range of IP matters, including:

Patent prosecution and litigation

Trademark prosecution and enforcement

Copyright registration and infringement

Trade secret protection and litigation

Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client matters.

Draft and review complex legal documents, such as patent applications, trademark registrations, and licensing agreements.

Represent clients in court proceedings and before administrative agencies.
Qualifications And Skills

Juris Doctor degree from a reputable law school.

Admitted to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.

Significant experience in intellectual property law, with a deep understanding of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret law.
