Role Overview:


The Interface Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all technical, construction, and stakeholder interfaces across multiple project packages within a major roads and bridges program. The role ensures seamless integration between design, procurement, and construction disciplines, minimizing conflicts and delays while upholding quality, schedule, and performance objectives.

This position reports directly to the Project Director and plays a key leadership role in managing cross-disciplinary coordination, stakeholder alignment, and communication across all involved entities.


Responsibilities:


  • Establish and implement the overall interface management framework, including standards, protocols, and escalation procedures.
  • Coordinate and resolve construction interface issues across project packages.
  • Monitor interface progress through consolidated interface registers and logs, ensuring early identification and mitigation of high-risk interfaces.
  • Define and oversee a consistent project-wide stakeholder engagement framework.
  • Identify, classify, and assess stakeholders based on power, interest, influence, and project impact.
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies to maximize collaboration and minimize conflicts.
  • Approve and monitor stakeholder engagement plans, ensuring effective communication, roles, and responsibilities are clearly defined.
  • Act as an escalation point for critical stakeholder issues, ensuring timely intervention and resolution.
  • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date stakeholder register documenting engagement history and management approaches.
  • Oversee information exchange across project teams, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of shared data.
  • Prepare consolidated interface and communication reports for the Project Director, highlighting key risks, issues, and recommendations.
  • Participate in executive and coordination meetings related to interface, stakeholder, and communication management.



Qualifications:


  • Saudi candidate with bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure or transportation projects, with at least 5 years in interface management for large-scale roads and bridges or tunnel projects.
  • Proven experience within a PMC or major consultancy environment .
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in project coordination tools and document management systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-package program environment.
  • Preferred: Experience in similar large-scale infrastructure projects and previous coordination with local authorities such as Amanat Al Riyadh, Civil Defense, and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) .
