Interim Estates and Disposals Surveyor

I am working exclusively with a Northwest-based local authority to recruit two Interim Estates/Disposals Surveyors to support their property team. These will be 3-month rolling contracts, with ideally 2 days per week in the office (flexibility on a week-to-week basis).

These roles will involve delivering a wide range of estates management and transactional property work across a varied public sector portfolio.

The Roles:

The authority is looking to fill two positions, each with a slightly different emphasis:

• Role 1 - General Estates Management:
  A broad estates role covering rent reviews, lease renewals, lettings, landlord & tenant matters, acquisitions, and maintaining the property database. This role will suit someone who enjoys variety and working across both operational and investment assets.
• Role 2 - Disposal-Focused:
  This role will take on general estates duties but with a stronger emphasis on disposals. You'll support the authority's asset rationalisation strategy, helping deliver capital receipts through proactive site disposals and negotiations.

Requirements:

• MRICS-qualified
• Local authority experience preferred
