Interim Laboratory Operations Leader - Genomics

Think is seeking an experienced Interim Laboratory Operations Leader to partner with the CEO and optimize laboratory operations, cost structure, and scalability. This position requires someone to travel to Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize genomics laboratory workflows and throughput
• Improve NGS and cytogenetics operations
• Assess and optimize cost per test, labor utilization, and reagent costs
• Develop scalable manpower and capacity plans
• Improve equipment utilization, batching, and automation
• Reduce turnaround time and enhance sample-to-report workflows
• Optimize LIMS and lab processes

Skills:

• Genetic testing labs operations mandatory

Requirements

• 15+ years in genomics / molecular diagnostics lab operations
• Strong expertise in NGS technologies and sequencing workflows
• Experience optimizing lab operations, staffing, and cost structures
• Advanced degree in molecular genetics, genomics, or related field preferred
• Fluent English required (Arabic a plus)
