Interior Architect

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Architect / Project Manager to lead projects from concept through to completion for a high end interior Architecture firm in Dubai.

We are looking for a design-led professional who thrives on taking ownership—balancing creativity, technical expertise, and on-site leadership to deliver exceptional interior spaces.

You will play a key role in ensuring design integrity, technical precision, and seamless coordination across consultants, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

• Lead coordination with contractors, suppliers, and vendors across all project phases
• Review contractor documentation (including BOQs) to ensure alignment with design intent
• Review and approve shop drawings
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Oversee implementation to maintain quality and resolve issues proactively

Site Leadership

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and quality
• Coordinate with contractors, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues
• Review and approve material samples, mock-ups, and workmanship
• Identify and resolve site clashes or discrepancies
• Lead snagging, inspections, and handover processes

Design & Concept Development

• Develop and present design concepts aligned with client vision, budget, and functionality
• Create mood boards, material palettes, and 3D visualizations
• Design space layouts with strong attention to circulation, ergonomics, and compliance
• Deliver innovative, functional interiors without compromising aesthetics

Technical Documentation

• Produce detailed architectural drawings and construction documentation
• Work proficiently in CAD and BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit)
• Coordinate effectively with structural, MEP, and specialist consultants

Materials & Supplier Coordination

• Select materials, finishes, lighting, fixtures, and furnishings
• Ensure sustainability, durability, and design consistency
• Liaise with suppliers and source samples as required

Client Management

• Lead client meetings and presentations
• Manage feedback loops and provide regular project updates
• Build long-term client relationships through strong delivery and communication

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Senior Interior Architect with project management responsibility
• Strong technical knowledge and site experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (BIM experience essential)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines confidently
