Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, quick, and efficient, detailed CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CAD, and will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for various projects. The drafter will work closely with designers and project managers to ensure that designs meet specifications and adhere to industry standards. A strong sense of design and good taste is highly valued, as this role may also involve contributing to aesthetic decisions.

Duties

• Develop detailed CAD drawings including floor plans, elevations, RCPs, electrical plans, and millwork drawings based on project specifications and requirements
• Utilize software such as Rhinoceros 3D, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality visual representations of designs
• Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring that all drafts are completed on schedule
• Conduct revisions based on feedback from team members or clients to refine designs
• Stay updated with industry trends to enhance design quality
• Assist with developing mood boards and presentations
• Support material selections in line with the firm’s design direction and standards

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software is essential; experience with Rhinoceros 3D, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of project management principles to effectively oversee project timelines
• Experience in lighting design, remodeling, and renovation projects is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate technical drawings
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
• Demonstrated good taste and a strong eye for design
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
