This led to the expansion of our interior design and fit-out division under MARBOX Interiors, delivering tailored residential transformations that combine design sophistication with technical execution expertise.

Today, MARBOX Interiors focuses on high-end residential renovations, bespoke interior solutions, space transformations, and fit-out execution while leveraging the strong operational and technical foundation established through MARBOX Living.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Design & Project Lead to support the evolution of our interiors division and help strengthen our project delivery, design coordination, sourcing capabilities, and overall customer experience.

Position Overview

The Design & Project Lead will play a key leadership role within MARBOX Interiors and will be responsible for managing projects end-to-end across client management, concept development, design coordination, material sourcing, supplier management, technical supervision, and final project delivery.

The ideal candidate must possess strong UAE market experience within luxury residential interiors and fit-out projects, with the ability to balance creative design direction, operational leadership, technical understanding, and customer relationship management.

This role requires a highly capable professional who understands both the creative and execution sides of interior projects and can confidently lead projects from the initial client inquiry stage through execution and handover while maintaining exceptional design, operational, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial client inquiry through concept development, execution, and final handover
• Lead client meetings, presentations, material discussions, and site visits
• Understand client requirements, lifestyle preferences, budgets, and project objectives to develop tailored design solutions
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service throughout the project lifecycle
• Proactively manage client expectations, communication, timelines, and deliverables
• Handle project-related challenges and provide effective problem-solving solutions

• Lead the development of creative, functional, and refined design concepts aligned with MARBOX standards
• Guide and coordinate internal design teams on layouts, mood boards, furniture selections, materials, styling, and technical detailing
• Review and supervise 3D visualizations, technical drawings, joinery details, and execution packages
• Ensure alignment between concept design, technical coordination, and on-site implementation
• Stay updated with local and international design trends, materials, finishes, and market developments

• Source high-end materials, fabrics, furniture, lighting, accessories, finishes, and decorative elements suitable for luxury residential projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturers, and vendors across the UAE market
• Coordinate material approvals, supplier follow-ups, and procurement timelines

• Supervise project execution to ensure approved designs and specifications are properly implemented on site
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, site teams, and internal staff during project execution
• Monitor project progress, workmanship standards, snagging, and handover activities
• Provide technical guidance and operational support throughout implementation phases

• Support management in improving operational systems, workflows, documentation, and coordination processes
• Mentor and guide junior designers and project teams
• Assist in project planning, supplier negotiations, budgeting discussions, and quotation reviews
• Represent MARBOX professionally in all client, supplier, contractor, and stakeholder interactions

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of interior design and fit-out experience within the UAE market
• Strong experience in luxury residential interiors and turnkey fit-out projects
• Proven experience managing projects from concept to completion
• Strong technical knowledge of fit-out systems, construction detailing, materials, and execution methodologies
• Excellent understanding of furniture, fabrics, finishes, lighting, accessories, and material sourcing within the UAE market
• Existing supplier and subcontractor network is highly preferred
• Strong client management, presentation, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and decision-making capabilities
• Commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery processes
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and industry-standard design coordination workflows
• UAE driving license and own vehicle are mandatory
• Fluent English required. Arabic is an advantage
