About the Role
We are seeking a polished and highly organized Interior Design Project Manager to join our high-end residential design studio. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional with 3–5 years of experience managing luxury residential projects and a strong understanding of both decorative and renovation scopes.
Working closely with the Owner/Principal Designer, you will play a key role in executing thoughtfully curated interiors—from initial selections and specifications through purchasing, budgeting, and final installation. This position requires a refined design sensibility, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple high-touch projects with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-end residential projects from design development through installation
- Collaborate directly with the Owner/Principal to execute the overall design vision
- Develop detailed selection specifications, including custom furnishings, finishes, fixtures, and materials
- Create, track, and maintain project budgets, proposals, and pricing documentation
- Oversee procurement processes, including purchasing, expediting, and vendor communication
- Utilize Studio Designer to manage proposals, invoices, and project financials
- Draft plans and construction documentation using AutoCAD
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, artisans, and vendors to ensure seamless execution
- Monitor timelines and proactively manage project milestones and deliverables
- Conduct site visits and installations, ensuring the highest level of quality and design integrity
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately; experience in renovation or remodeling projects highly desirable. Qualifications & Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in high-end residential interior design or project management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawings and documentation
- Strong working knowledge of Studio Designer for procurement and financial management
- Experience managing custom furnishings, vendor relationships, and long lead-time items
- Solid understanding of residential construction and renovation processes
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
- Strong communication skills and a high level of professionalism when working with discerning clients
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and follow-through
