About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Interior Design Faculty who can teach core interior design subjects, guide students through studio projects, and mentor them in developing strong portfolios.

The ideal candidate should have strong interior design knowledge, industry exposure, and a passion for teaching.

Responsibilities:

Teaching & Studio Facilitation

• Conduct studio sessions, theory classes, and hands-on workshops in:
• Interior design concepts
• Space planning
• Materials & finishes
• Furniture design
• Interior working drawings
• Lighting design
• Colour theory
• Guide students in design projects and portfolio development.
• Teach drafting, detailing, and interior-specific model-making.

Curriculum & Student Mentoring

• Assist in curriculum planning and integrating the latest industry trends (sustainable interiors, modular systems, digital tools, etc.).
• Mentor students for competitions, internships, and real-world design challenges.
• Conduct jury reviews and provide constructive critiques.

Industry Engagement & Events

• Organise site visits to interior design studios, material libraries, and live projects.
• Coordinate guest lectures, exhibitions, workshops, and design reviews.

Qualifications:

Education:

• B. Arch is mandatory.
• M. Arch is optional

Experience:

• At least 0 - 5 years of professional teaching experience is required.
• Strong portfolio showcasing architectural design, execution, and technical expertise.

Skills and Competencies:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Enscape, V-Ray, 3ds Max and interior-specific tools.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, lighting, ergonomics, spatial design, and execution.
• Excellent communication and mentorship abilities.
