Job Overview:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing innovative interior spaces that enhance functionality and aesthetics. This role involves collaborating with clients, understanding their needs, and translating those into design concepts that are both practical and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation: Meet with clients to discuss their vision, preferences, and budget for interior projects.

Design Development: Create design concepts, mood boards, and presentations that align with client objectives.

Space Planning: Develop space plans that optimize functionality and flow within the environment.

Material Selection: Research and select materials, furnishings, colors, and finishes that meet the design vision and budget.

Execution Oversight:

Manage the implementation of design projects, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to design specifications and timelines.

Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations for execution and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Monitor execution on-site and communicate with factories regarding item production and delivery schedules.

Rendering: Create high-quality 2D and 3D renderings to visualize design concepts and communicate ideas effectively to clients.

Budget Management: Track project expenses and ensure that designs are executed within budget.

Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure design integrity.

Collaboration: Work closely with architects, builders, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive design approach.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously enhance design offerings.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in interior design, particularly in project execution.

Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

Experience in creating 2D and 3D renderings.

Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
