key responsibilities and tasks of an architect in an interior design office:

Spatial Planning and Layout:

  • Space Optimization: Analyzing and optimizing the use of interior spaces to ensure functionality and aesthetics align with the client's needs.
  • Flow and Circulation: Designing the layout to ensure efficient flow and circulation within the space, considering factors like accessibility and usability.

Design Integration:

  • Structural Considerations: Incorporating structural elements into the design, ensuring that any changes to the interior layout are structurally sound.
  • Coordination with Interior Designers: Collaborating closely with interior designers to integrate architectural elements with interior finishes, furniture, and decor.

Technical Documentation:

  • Construction Drawings: Preparing detailed drawings that include plans, sections, and elevations, focusing on interior modifications and detailing.
  • Specifications: Providing detailed specifications for materials, finishes, fixtures, and fittings, ensuring they meet design and performance criteria.

Client Interaction:

  • Understanding Client Needs: Working with clients to understand their requirements and preferences, and translating these into viable design solutions.
  • Presentation: Creating presentations, including 3D renderings and mood boards, to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.

Project Management:

  • Budget and Timeline Management: Managing project budgets and timelines, ensuring that the design and implementation stay within the agreed parameters.
  • Coordination: Coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution.

Construction Oversight:

  • Site Supervision: Conducting site visits to monitor the progress of interior construction and ensure that work aligns with the design specifications.
  • Problem Solving: Addressing any on-site issues that arise during the construction phase, providing quick and effective solutions.

Detailing and Finishes:

  • Interior Detailing: Focusing on the finer details of interior architecture, such as built-in furniture, cabinetry, and intricate joinery.
  • Material Selection: Selecting appropriate materials and finishes that align with the design vision and functional requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
