- Analyze space layouts to ensure efficient use and flow.
- Develop functional and visually appealing floor plans.
- Create detailed design concepts that align with client objectives and building codes.
3. Design Presentation
- Prepare sketches, mood boards, color palettes, and sample boards.
- Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max) to create 2D drawings and 3D visualizations.
- Present proposals and revisions to clients for approval.
4. Material and Product Selection
- Source furniture, fixtures, fabrics, lighting, and accessories.
- Recommend sustainable, durable, and cost-effective materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for samples and quotations.
5. Budgeting and Cost Estimation
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates and timelines.
- Monitor budgets and control expenses throughout the project.
- Recommend cost-saving alternatives without compromising design quality.
6. Coordination and Project Management
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Supervise on-site work to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
- Address issues or changes that arise during construction or installation.
- Manage project schedules to ensure timely completion.
7. Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all designs meet local building codes, accessibility standards, and safety regulations.
- Select materials and furnishings that adhere to fire and environmental safety requirements.
8. Styling and Finishing
- Oversee the placement of furniture, artwork, and decorative accessories.
- Ensure the final look meets the intended design vision.
- Conduct final walkthroughs with clients for approval.

- Maintain project documentation, contracts, and correspondence.
