Interior Designer – Full-Time Position

Position Summary
Haute Design, Inc. is seeking a self-starter and driven Interior Designer to lead high-end residential and commercial projects from concept through completion. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical expertise, and strong client communication. You will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing detailed plans, sourcing materials, and managing installations to ensure each project meets with client expectations and Haute Design’s deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings and manage design projects.
• Prepare design boards, sketches, and visual aids for presentations.
• Develop furnishing plans, manage pricing, and oversee ordering processes.
• Implement design concepts using AutoCAD and Studio Designer software.
• Track project furnishings and prepare installation reports.
• Draft proposals and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Maintain office design templates and contribute to historical preservation projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in interior design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Studio Designer, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Self-starter with strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Expertise in furnishings, finishes, and current design trends.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced office environment
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines.

Employment Terms

• Schedule Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Weekends: If needed for an out-of-town installation or work trip.

Compensation & Benefits

• Performance Bonus: Annual bonus based on billable hours, design sales, and overall performance.
